From this root we extend upstream — dematerialization, certification and lifecycle management — and we put it at the service of the sectors where we were born, starting with healthcare.

Our story

Professional roots, an independent path.

Our professional roots go back to 1994–2009: experience gained at other companies in IT for public administration and healthcare, with a sensitivity trained to interpret the sector’s real needs and know-how geared towards the efficiency of electronic archiving. In 2009 the new company Quality and Safety was founded, operational from 2010 as an independent path of specialization.

Our wealth of expertise comes from a period of designing and building IT systems in partnership with large multinationals, with specialization in patient management solutions in radiology (RIS-PACS installations) and consolidated skills in telecommunications, networking and systems administration.

From 1999 to 2007 the systems installed and implemented in diagnostic imaging departments and in numerous hospital centres in Northern Italy managed radiology environments for over 30 million medical-health procedures. A volume that still today is an important benchmark for measuring the reliability of the adopted solutions and the knowledge gained on healthcare operational processes.

Design and implementation of RIS-PACS installations in diagnostic imaging departments and in numerous hospital centres: over 30 million medical-health procedures managed.

Foundation of Quality and Safety S.r.l., with a wealth of expertise gained in partnership with large multinationals and in developing patient management solutions in radiology.

Independent specialization

An independent path of specialization in digital preservation, dematerialization and document certification, with the in-house development of the Mar.te™ project.
