Regulatory context
The European ESPR Regulation (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation) requires manufacturers to make available a Digital Product Passport for every product placed on the EU market, containing information on composition, repairability, recyclability and environmental footprint. The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) also requires a public statement on the due diligence activities carried out along the supply chain.
